To make sure that crinkly fibers turn into perfectly spun yarns, wool requires multiple treatments – to adjust its dynamic and static friction properties, to smooth it, and to render it antistatic. Effective lubricating before carding and combing of the raw wool, softening before spinning of the combed tops requires processing aids that guarantee high quality of the end products and keep fiber losses to a minimum. Our combing/carding oils, lubricants and softeners set standards worldwide and will help to get the last possible fraction out of the raw material. In cooperation with renowned wool research institutes, we are currently working on improving raw material yield by a further half percent. What's more: we offer wool lubricants for every specific requirement and in any desired form – emulsions, solutions, or pure oils. Wherever possible, we use oleochemical based materials from natural sources. They excel not only in terms of outstanding performance, but also due to their optimal compatibility for humans and the environment.
