PULCRA Chemicals has achieved the highest level of ZDHC Gateway compliance for a wide range of leather chemicals across their global manufacturing facilities with Level 3 certification.
Compliance and continuous improvement of sustainability and safety in the production and use of leather chemicals is of paramount importance to PULCRA Chemicals in its decisions and actions. This includes the capability and desire of permanently enhancing product performance by reducing valuable resources such as water and energy that are used in the manufacture of PULCRA leather chemicals. A focus on renewable raw materials and improved chemical use are also part of these efforts.
Achieving the highest ZDHC certification level 3 is an important recognition of PULCRA Chemicals‘ commitment to excellence in sustainability and product safety. In the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Joint Roadmap, Version 2, ZDHC member brands commit to defining and developing a Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) for the apparel and footwear industry. The ZHDC MRSL addresses hazardous substances used in manufacturing that could be released into the environment.

SILVADUR™ antimicrobial technology is the most durable, reliable, and advanced antimicrobial technology on the market — eliminating the concern buyers face with antimicrobials that wash away after one or two launderings.
The patented, silver ion technology found only in SILVADUR™ can extend the life of protective garments and turns ordinary scrubs into hospital assets.
