Dear customers and partners,
Dear Valued Customers,
Thank you for your patience as we strive to maintain operations and respond to your changing needs in the midst of an emerging global pandemic. This is the first in a series of regular updates about our response to the COVID-19 health emergency. It addresses new health and safety measures, business continuity planning, and our disease-fighting applications.
The PULCRA Leadership Team closely monitors the spread of disease, public policy responses, changing market conditions, and the potential impact on our industry.
We have taken urgent action to protect our employees and keep facilities safe while ensuring reliable operations continue. Chemical applications that can be deployed against the disease are now top priority. These efforts are vital because we know PULCRA products and expertise can help to contain and overcome the threat of COVID-19.
By taking proactive steps, we aim to minimize disruptions to our business and to yours, while offering our special expertise as partners in your innovation efforts.
HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURES
We have eliminated site visits and introduced entry restrictions at our plants and offices. We have implemented non-overlapping staff schedules to prevent the potential spread of disease at various locations. In addition, we have imposed a ban on international travel and domestic transit between cities via air or any other form of public transport. All PULCRA locations have seen an increase in regular disinfecting and cleaning cycles, while employees receive frequent reminders about how to practice potentially life-saving hygiene at work and home.
The health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers and external business partners remains our first concern. We follow the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO) and comply with current local, state and government requirements for social distancing and suppression.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY & RELIABLE DELIVERY
Our goal is to offer customers the level of quality, responsiveness and support you have come to expect despite rapidly changing conditions. Since early February a crossfunctional crisis team has been working to ensure business continuity, secure critical manufacturing components, and avoid delays. Of course, the current situation confronts us with new risks and challenges, but we are committed to adapt quickly and overcome obstacles as they emerge. Every effort is being made to get in front of the supply chain disruptions, regulatory confusion, and logistical breakdowns that can arise at a volatile time.
We have implemented measures at PULCRA´s Headquarters in Germany and affiliates around the world to ensure consistent leadership and smooth operations in the face of potential absenteeism and restrictions on movement. By maintaining open channels of communication with suppliers and logistics partners, are continually monitoring the availability of raw material stocks, specialty products, and other supplies. In consultation with our colleagues, customers and partners we are also working to anticipate new applications and to gauge fluctuations in demand before they occur.
PULCRA contact partners remain fully available to you, from a distributed (home) working environment and, for now, relying more heavily on virtual channels of communication to keep in touch. We count on your support and understanding, and we invite your valuable feedback during this period of adjustment. Know that PULCRA will continue to be there for you, providing the service, support, and insight you require. We are convinced that, together, we will overcome the challenge of COVID-19 and any related economic fallout.
YOUR PULCRA TEAM thanks you for your cooperation and patience. We hope that you, your family, and your business will remain safe and prosperous during this difficult time. Be assured that everyone at PULCRA is working diligently to make those hopes reality.

DURABLE WORKWEAR AND MEDICAL SCRUBS AND NONWOVENS
At PULCRA, we are proud that our mission extends to protecting people, first responders and medical staff who face personal risk, long work shifts and stressed conditions in the fight against COVID-19 and other serious medical conditions.
STANTEX® products are being largely used for manufacturing fibers and nonwovens going into hygienic applications. Its concepts which are compliant with FDA and BFR regulations are ideal when using materials in direct contact with the skin. Excellent skin compatibility, softening properties and high performance once control of liquid transportation is needed, are some of their

REPELLAN® products are based on fluoro chemistry which can be applied and used in fabrics to create a barrier/repellency of water, oil and blood. This product is used in the application and finishing of medical uniforms, workwear or protective cloths. We have more than 25 years of experience applying REPELLAN® solutions, always following the specifications and taking in consideration the unique requirements of our customers. PULCRA is ready to support you in with this and other custom applications.
SILVADUR™ antimicrobial technology is the most durable, reliable, and advanced antimicrobial technology on the market — eliminating the concern buyers face with antimicrobials that wash away after one or two launderings.
The patented, silver ion technology found only in SILVADUR™ can extend the life of protective garments and turns ordinary scrubs into hospital assets. SILVADUR™ technology is able to withstand high temperatures and chlorine laundering, extending the useful life of each treated garment. Not only do garments treated with SILVADUR™ have hygienic and anti-viral properties, they also stay fresh and protected from bacteria that cause odors. SILVADUR™ minimizes odor-causing bacteria on the fabric surface, keeping odors at bay. PULCRA is ready to support you in with this and other custom applications.
SILVADUR™ is a registered trademark of DuPont de Nemours, Inc.
